Approve Admin Changes

Description

Web Business Banking allows your company to select an additional level of security that limits the control of any one individual making administrative changes to your company and/or user profiles. This company preference is Approval Required for Administrative Changes. In order to set this right a user must have the right ‘Set Company Preferences’.

Once a change to a profile is pending approval, the profile is locked and no further changes can be requested. The user or service profile will continue to function in its previous state until the change is approved. For example, if a System Administrator has requested that a user be deleted this user is not deleted until the change is approved. The user can still function within Web Business Banking but no further changes can be requested against this profile until the request to ‘Delete User’ is either approved or declined. If declined, the profile becomes active again and further requests for changes can be made.

Accessing Approve Admin Changes

To access the Approve Admin Changes function, simply click Approve Admin Changes from the Administration sub-menu

You must have the right 'Approve Admin Changes' to access this page.

How To Approve/Decline a Change

  1. Review the Change by clicking on the applicable Type of Change link
  2. Select the appropriate button, either Approve or Decline
