Make Payments - Field Descriptions and Business Rules

The following tables identify the fields and controls, as well as business rules, of the Make Payments - Workspace page.

The Make Payments - Workspace page consists of two unique sections:

  1. Copy Payments to the Workspace From: The first section, located at the top of the page, allows you to copy Templates to your workspace as payments.
  2. Workspace Payments: The second section, located below the Search section, displays the Payments that you created or modified, which have not been submitted for Authorization.

Copy Payments to the Workspace From

Company Name Dropdown

Allows you to select the Company Originator you wish to copy templates for/from.

Format will be (30 + 3 + 10 + 1 + 3)
Company Name + " - " + Originator ID + " " + "Cur"
Sorted Alphabetically

Note: Only the Company Originators to which you have access will be displayed.

Group Dropdown
30 Characters
Mandatory
Allows you to select which Group is assigned to the Templates you wish to copy.

Note: If you wish to include all Groups then select 'All' from the dropdown.

Frequency Dropdown
25 Characters
Mandatory
Allows you to select which Frequency is assigned to the Templates you wish to copy.

Note: If you wish to include all Groups then select 'All' from the dropdown.

Payment Type Radio Button
Mandatory
Allows you to select which Payment Type is assigned to the Templates you wish to copy.

Possible values are:

  • Credit
  • Debit

Note: Only Payment Types that the selected Originator supports will be available for selection.

Assign a Due Date of Text Box
MM/DD/YYYY
Mandatory
Allows you to enter the Due Date you wish to assign to the payments you are creating.
Calendar Link Allows you to select and assign a due date using the Calendar control.
Copy Payments Button Allows you to copy the Templates, which match the criteria you entered, to your workspace as Payments.

Note: When Payments are created a Payments (Summary Record) is added to your Workspace. To access the individual Payment details select the Summary record and click the Find Payments button.

Workspace Payments

Field/Control Name Type Rules/Values
BUTTONS
Add One-Time Payment Button Allows you to create a One Time, non-recurring Payment.
Import Payments Button Allows you to Import Payments from an EFT 80 byte file layout.
Select Checkbox Allows you to select multiple Payments you wish to work with (i.e. Submit, Find Payments or Delete).
Submit Button Allows you to Submit Payments for Authorization.
Find Payments Button Allows you to Find Payments that that need to be modified.
Delete Button Allows you to Delete Payments.
Delete $0.00 Payments Button Allows you to Delete $0.00 Payments
Generate Detailed Report Button Allows you to generate a Payment Detail Report for the selected Group. This report contains full details of all of the individual Payments and is available in PDF and spreadsheet friendly Comma Separated (CSV) and Tab Delimited formats.
