Receive File

Description

The Receive File function allows you to download files from TD Bank.

Any File Transfer right allows a user to access the Receive File page. However, you can only receive files to which your System Administrator has provided you access. Refer to the User Profile page for more information on your rights profile.

If you have not been granted any receive file rights, then an error message will be presented when you access this page.

Service Dropdown
Selecting a service from the dropdown will display the files available to you for download. The Receive File page will be filtered by the selected service, or you have the option to display all the services to which you have been assigned rights.

Display/Retention
Files are initially available on the Receive File page to any user with the appropriate right. Once downloaded, files will be removed from the Receive File page and become accessible from the Activity List.

Files can be downloaded for 35 calendar days from the date the file is first made available to your company.

Receive File Grid

  1. Select - Only one file at a time can be selected to be downloaded
  2. Service - Indicates the service associated with the file description
  3. File Description - Indicates the file description name
  4. File Name - Generated by TD Bank
  5. Date/Time Created - Indicates the date and time the file is made available to your company
    Note: Once a file is downloaded from the Receive File page, it will still be available from your Activity List should you wish to download it again. The file will be available for 35 days from the Date Created.
  6. Size – Indicates the estimated file size.
  7. Receive - When selected, the behaviour of the button will vary depending on your browser setting for downloading files. Depending on the setting, you may be prompted to select whether to view or download the file.
  8. Receive Zipped - Allows you to download files in a compressed 'zipped' format. Note: WinZip® compatible software is required to uncompress files.

At the time of download, you have the option of changing the file name assigned by TD Bank to something more relevant to your company.

How do I Receive a File?

  1. Click the radio button for the file you would like to download
  2. Click Receive or Receive Zipped
  3. Select the location where you would like to save the downloaded file
  4. Rename the file if necessary Click Save
  5. Close the popup window to return to Web Business
