Receive Reports

Description

The Receive Reports page lists all the reports, in chronological order (oldest to newest), that are available to either view or download that you have:

  1. scheduled from the Scheduled Reports page
  2. generated from the My Reports page in BAI, CSV or Tab Delimited formats
  3. generated a Report (PDF) format from the My Reports page that was generated off-line due to the size of the file

The Receive Reports Grid:

  1. Action - A report can be downloaded to your local or network drive in an unzipped (Receive) or zipped format (Receive Zipped).
  2. Receive - When selected, the behaviour of the button depends on your setting of your browser for downloading files. Depending on the setting, you may be prompted to select whether to view or download the report.

    1. Report (PDF) - you will be prompted to either view the report or select a location to download the report to a local or network drive. To save a report that you have viewed, you must use the browser save functionality located on your browser's toolbar.
      Note: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed to view a report. To find out more click here.
    2. All other file formats - you will be prompted to either view or select a location to download the report to a local or network drive. The report file is not in a compressed format.

    Receive Zipped - When selected, you will be prompted to select the location you would like the report downloaded to. The report downloaded is in a zipped format. Once downloaded, you must have compression software installed in order to unzip the file then you must use other applications such as Excel or Notepad to view the file from your PC or network drive.

    Update Status - If the Receive Report Grid displays a report status of 'In Progress' you may attempt to refresh the status by selecting Update Status. The status will display 'Complete' when the report is available to be either view or download.

  3. File Name - The user-defined name assigned at the time of scheduling or generating the report is detailed along with the date and time the report was made available to you.
  4. Type - Displays the output format of the generated report, which will be one of the following:
    Report (PDF), BAI, CSV or Tab Delimited.
  5. Size - Indicates the size of the file.
  6. Status - A report will display one of the following statuses:
    In Progress - the report is still being generated
    Complete - the report is available to be either viewed or downloaded
    Downloaded - the report has been successfully viewed or downloaded
    Unprocessed - the system was unable to produce this report

Retention of files

  1. Successfully viewed or received files are removed from the available report list at the end of the day.
  2. Reports are available for 30 calendar days, unless downloaded, from the date the report is available. If the report has not been either viewed or downloaded in this time, the report is removed from the list.
    Note: The date and time are appended to the file name.
  3. If you cancel a download before the entire report is received (e.g. you click the 'Cancel' button), the file remains on the Receive Reports list and is available to attempt the download again.
