Accessing the Find Templates page

To access the Find Payments page complete the following 3 steps:

Step 1: Select the Company Originator you wish to work with; on the Template Maintenance page.

Step 2: Click the Find Templates button and the Template Maintenance - Find Templates page will be displayed.

Performing a Search

The process to perform a search has 3 steps:

Step 1: Select the field you wish to search from the With dropdown. Note: If you want to display all templates select Find All Payments from the dropdown.

Step 2: Enter the value you wish search for in the Of textbox.

Note: You don't have to worry about upper and lower case when entering a search value. The search is not case sensitive.

Tip: If you don't know exactly how something was entered in a template (e.g. Jon Smith could be entered as John Smith), you can search for partial matches by Using Wildcards in your search.

Step 3: Click the Search button to initiate the search.

Result: Once the Search button is clicked, the system will search and find Templates that match you criteria and display the results in the table at the bottom of the screen.

Tip: You can resort the results by Name, Reference, Account Number or Amount by simply clicking on the corresponding column heading.

Note: If you need to return to the Template Maintenance page, click the Back button located on the bottom right of the page.

Using Wildcards

The search allows you to search for partial matches by using the asterisk wildcard in your search.

The following are examples of how to use the search function. All examples assume that the Name field was selected from the With dropdown.

Search For	Search Results
Blank or *	All Templates
*ABC	All names ending with ABC
ABC*	All names beginning with ABC
*ABC*	All names that contain ABC
ABC	Only names of ABC (i.e. exact match)

User Rights/Security/Filtering

• All users can access this page.
• You must have the right 'Ability to Maintain Payment Templates' in order to access the Modify Details function.
• You must have the right 'Ability to Maintain Payment Templates' in order to access the Delete function.
